Mermaids of
South Africa

At the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa, I encountered a group of wonderful mermaids. Their laughter was contagious, and they moved through the water full of joy and vitality. My heart, shaped by my work in elderly care, immediately opened up to these cheerful women who kept fit with water aerobics. It was beautiful to see how they maintained their health and joy of life through movement in the water. This encounter showed me that joy and activity are possible at any age.
